TWO very interesting and scarce coins.
On the left is an wonderful and unusual engraving style. Guide to Biblical coins does not have an illustration for this exact Hendin number, but there is a line drawing. The line drawing may have been taken from this die as they are virtualy identical!

On the right is a scarce early "Rosh" version of the John Hyrcanus Prutah where he proclaims himself the "Head" with a nice clear inscription.
