Obverse: N THEODOSIVS P F AVG around pearl-diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed facing bust of Theodosius angled slightly to right, holding spear and shield
Reverse: Constantinopolis seated to left, holding globus cruciger in her right hand and scepter in her left, foot on prow, shield to right; star to left, IMP XXXXII COS XVII P P around, COMOB in exergue
Full weight on a broad flan, with superlative detail and vibrant luster. Nicer than most mint State graded examples we have seen, and truly a STUNNING coin!
