SAMARIA AR MA'AH - OBOL
SC 210, Very Fine, areas of flat strike, chipped edge, 9.8mm, .52 gram, Struck Circa. 375 - 333 B.C.E.
Obverse: Janiform head
Reverse: Two owls standing on a branch, facing each other
An Extremely RARE coin with only ONE specimen recorded in acsearch, though not a very pretty example. The obverse was struck with a worn and probably broken die and the reverse has one owl quite clear and the other rather flat. Still a very affordable example, missing from most better collections.
