Julian II (also known as the apostate or the philosopher) was the emperor who intended to rebuild the 3rd Temple in Jerusalem but was killed before he could complete the task. This marked the end of any attempt or serious consideration of rebuilding the Temple in antiquity.
A nice example, sharp with deep lovely old tone!
Ex: Harptree Hoard of 1887
The East Harptree Hoard was discovered in 1887 by Mr. Kettlewell of Harptree Court. The coins were studied by the British Museum and published in the Numismatic Chronicle in 1888 by John Evans who remarked on the "remarkably good preservation". The hoard was then returned to the finder and they remained untouched until they were sold in 2016.
